This piece was created to be an album cover for the song Rises The Moon by Liana Flores. The song evokes a sense of comfort when listening to it and reminds me of a mother singing a lullaby to their child. That is why I depicted Liana embracing a lamb, which symbolizes childhood innocence. The forest surrounding them represents the difficulties in life, and the composition of the work was created to guide the viewer’s eye up to the moon and physically represent the song’s title.
